Heather Megill Reba, Director

Master’s Degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from the University at Buffalo
Bachelor Degree in Music from University of California Davis.


She has taught music and theatre classes at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, where
she currently teaches and directs in the musical theatre program. She has also
taught music and theatre classes at Finger Lakes Community College (NY) and
the University of New Haven (CT).


She has directed theatre productions with the University of New Haven, Encore
Youth Theatre, Carlsbad Community Theatre, Hamden Public Schools (CT),
Idyllwild Elementary School, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Turnpike Players (CT),
and Megill & Company, the non-profit organization she founded in 2002 with
her sister, Beth Megill. She has also musically directed and conducted many
productions for Carlsbad High School Theatre Department.


As an actor, she has performed with Moonlight Stage Productions, the Welk
Resort, Sacramento's Music Circus, Carlsbad Community Theatre, Starlight
Civic Light Theatre, as well as other local and East Coast companies.


Heather is a private voice instructor who focuses on classical and musical theatre
technique. She has Coached students for entrance into music/opera/musical
theater programs at NYU, UCLA, UC Irvine, University of New Haven, SUNY
Buffalo, SDSU and others.


Born and raised in Oceanside, Heather currently lives in Idyllwild, CA.
