Heather Megill Reba, Director


Master’s Degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from the University at Buffalo
Bachelor Degree in Music from University of California Davis.


Heather has taught music and theatre classes at the Idyllwild Arts Academy, where she currently teaches and directs in the musical theatre program. She has also taught music and theatre classes at Finger Lakes Community College (NY) and the University of New Haven (CT).


She has directed theatre productions with the University of New Haven, Encore Youth Theatre, Carlsbad Community Theatre, Hamden Public Schools (CT), Idyllwild Elementary School, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Turnpike Players (CT), and Megill & Company, the non-profit organization she founded in 2002 with her sister, Beth Megill. She has also musically directed and conducted many productions for Carlsbad High School Theatre Department.


As an actor, she has performed with Moonlight Stage Productions, the Welk Resort, Sacramento's Music Circus, Carlsbad Community Theatre, Starlight Civic Light Theatre, as well as other local and East Coast companies.


Heather is a private voice instructor who focuses on classical and musical theatre technique. She has Coached students for entrance into music/opera/musical theater programs at NYU, UCLA, UC Irvine, University of New Haven, SUNY Buffalo, SDSU and others.


Born and raised in Oceanside, Heather currently lives in Idyllwild, CA.




Noelle Marie Kerr (Musical Director)


Noelle Marie Kerr is an award-winning Director/Musical Director/Performer, NATS/NYSTA Vocal Teacher and Vocal/Theatre Judge who began performing at age two. With over two decades of teaching and directing experience in California, New York City, New Jersey, Africa, Argentina, Europe and Mexico, she has taught performers of all ages, learning styles and special needs from the novice to the professional, including those with Broadway credits and UK Pop Chart placements, in a myriad of venues, such as theatres, studios, schools, churches, academies, music centers, camps, CYT SD, CYT NYC and Universities. Noelle Marie has founded musical theatre programs across Southern California in honor of her mother, has trained faculties in Music and Musical Theatre, Directed Vocal, Musical Theatre and Arts Education Departments, and developed Music Education programs for two primary schools in Kenya in 2012.


Noelle Marie holds a BA in VPA: Music and Theatre; Arts Education, an alum of Lincoln Center's Directors Lab West, Broadway Teachers Workshop, and a Teaching Artist Director for Disney Theatrical Group's Disney Musicals in Schools. Favorite roles include Eponine (Les Miz), Audrey (Little Shop), Maria (West Side Story), Jo (Little Women) and Harper (Angels in America). Continually sought after to direct, musical direct, train and teach. Noelle Marie focuses her work around JOY, storytelling, and good work!



Ben Williams (Acting/Movement Coach)


Ben is a native North County San Diego actor and educator. He most recently finished assistant directing Robin Hood and the Magical Dragon (Mary Beach Productions) at Tri City Christian School this last school semester. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts from Call Stage Long Beach. As an actor and singer Ben has performed in San Diego and Orange County. He was most recently seen at the Lawrence Welk Theatre in The Man Who Came to Dinner (Richard) and My Fair Lady (Freddy Hill.) He was a camp counselor at Tri City's summer camp the last three summers and is happy to be joining the team for The Little Mermaid, Jr. here at Oceanside Theatre Company.



Josie Baker-Vautrin (Teaching Assistant) 


A recent summa cum laude graduate at The Barbara Ingram School For the Arts in Hagerstown, MD, Josie Baker-Vautrin has studied acting and singing for musical theatre, dance, and choral performance for the past four years. The daughter of two dancers, Josie has always grown up around music and has a passion for the arts. She was most recently seen as Mayzie in Seussical, Gymnasia in A Funny Thing ... Forum, and Flotsam in The Little Mermaid. In addition to performing with her school, she has also acted with Chambersburg Community Theatre (PA), Musselman Theatre Inc. (WV), Authentic Community Theatre (MD), and has performed numerous times in the historic Maryland Theatre in downtown Hagerstown. Though she currently lives in Maryland, she plans to move to California long-term to pursue performing and is incredibly excited to work with OTC.
